Hi, I've just bought an Alfa 147. Have previously owned one as a company car, so nice to be back in the Alfa gang! Anyway, it needs a variator (1.6).....anyone know where the cheapest place to buy one is? Belts etc were done fairly recently but will need to be re-done I think, to be on the safe side.

Cheers in advance...

Probably from the same place you buy the cam belt, tensioners, waterpump (optional) and cam locks from ...

(alternative auto's seem to be pretty cheap)

Cheers. Although it had the belt replaced a year ago, they didnt do the variator. Suppose it's best to do the full job again - just wondered if someone could do me a favour and confirm the part numbers I need?! Cheers

EBSpares, Shop4Parts, AlternativeAutos, AlfaWorkshop or your local Alfa dealer would all be able to help. I've not got eper to hand at the moment so can't check for you.
