You should definitely start from here and give us a few more details. I think there'll be one or two who might be interested in a GTA SS and once you get feedback from here you can always post it to Pistonheads for a wider audience. I know we're all interested to find out a few more details about your car so start posting :thumbup:

Ok .. here goes.. I bought it from Veloces of London in August 2010 for £12990 with 23k miles on it. The story I was told was that it was destined for Malaysia but the deal with Alfa fell through and it was stored and not registered until May 2008.
It was originally purchased from Park Lane Ltd in Hampshire and I am its second owner. The Guy who bought it new had a Q2 diff fitted and Koni Suspension by Monza Sport before he picked it up new.It now has 29k miles on it and had the Cam belt,water pump, all pulleys and full service done at Atolusso with 27k miles on the clock. I had the wheels powder coated dark grey and a wizzard unicorse exhaust fitted by Autolusso which sounds absolutely amazing (Still have the original exhaust), the only other mod is a Wiecher front strut brace fitted. It is amazing to drive and not to be confused with the normal Alfa Selespeed set-up, I was told that it has a Ferrari gearbox fitted to it. I will try to upload a picture, its from the GTA day at Duxford so its a few years old but the car looks no different .

IMHO, it is worth more than what you paid for it. It's definitely the rarest of GTA's and with such a low mileage it's sure to be coveted by a collector. It might help putting this up on a Classics website as it could pick up the interest of that type of buyer on such a website. If the paintwork and all is in a good condition then this is easily a £15k car - but it may take just a little time to shift at that price.
Is there no way that you could just hold on to it? I'll be holding on to mine and no way it's as highly specced as yours.

Hi GTV-slave.. I don't really want to sell it but its just that it spends more time stored than used... almost feel its wasted.... it is mint all round... thanks for the advice Re selling it .. im glad I asked the question because I was thinking it must be worth more than I paid. This is the second GTA ive owned the first I bought new in 2002 and that was a manual ... this thing knocks the manual into touch no question, I put the manual in auto trader and after the usual tyre kickers I sold it to a guy from Poland, He drove over here in a GTA to pick it up with a friend!
I understand about that it seems it is just standing there and these cars need to be driven. I've had to get rid of my GTV as I could not find a dry storage for it and didn't want to make it worse by not driving it. I don't drive my GTA more than once a week, if that, but, I have it on a Classic Car Insurance - which makes it a lot more affordable to run as a hobby only - so I can still give it a run-around once in a while as it doesn't need for anything for the next two years. I know that for me I'll keep my car for as long as I can and the maintenance it would require would still keep me in the black for such a unique car and yours is definitely a keeper. I hope you're able to keep it with you because there's nothing like it out there.

I guess you could offer it back to Veloces and see what they are prepared to give for it......if you don't like what they offer then add on what you thinks reasonable and advertise privately. At least what they offer will give you an indication of value 
These are the most rare GTA's (only 361 made). I would just keep it, as others have suggested. But if you want/need to sell, then I think £15-16k would be a fair price.
I am sure the Giulia QV is a very fine car, but I think the GTA has two distinct tracts:
1) the Busso V6 and its 25 years of history
2) motorsport successes
The Giulia can only hope working towards 2! (And I sincerely hope Alfa will pursue racing again.)
Having said that, I would love to test drive the QV!

And most people out there have no idea what a GTA is! Most think it is just a chavved up 156.
Makes for fine traffic light encounters. However not so good when trying to sell one.
Bet of luck with your sale - it's worth 15k all day long from what you have said.

I for one would be very interested in this car! I currently have 156 GTA manual in black metallic that I absolutely love but with a knackered knee I have been considering selling for some time. I was looking at the 147 GTA Selespeeds that are coming in from Japan but I think I prefer the 156 shape, or do I?!? Not sure what mine is worth either which would have to help with the man-maths - just done 100k, has important mods done (although I kept the 305 brakes) but it needs the front wings doing in the future-ideas?
Anyway can you pm me some more details please!
