Given that we are all driving home in the dark now - has anyone else noticed the red ambient lights coming form the top of the interior light console?

You can see them really clearly if you put your hands up to the unit - of course it helps if the main headlights are on and it's dark!!

This led me to follow the ambient light beams down to see where they were directed...

The one on the LHS points to the central locking button just to the left of the gear stick but the one on the RHS seems to point way back to the drivers seat belt buckle.

I know these are useful areas to illuminate but since the central locking button has self illumination and the buckle is too far to actually get any light I wondered if other members could post where their lights fall and whether they are adjustable. My guess is that they are randomly set at the factory.

Answers on a post card please!

Mine light up the ashtray, change cubbyhole and armrest
storage/cup holders. Very useful.

(Obviously they are further back on the roof in the Brera. ;))
