Do I need to replace the fixed tensioner too? :confused:

Advisable but not essential, they tend to warn of impending failure in my experience and are easy to get to :D

Put it this way...I didn't last time out, not much of a recommendation :rolleyes:

If it doesn't add much to the cost its probably worth doing now...

Fair enough.

I've been told that the tensioner is fine but it's the original one and my car will have completed 72,000 miles by the weekend so I daren’t tempt fate any longer.
