·Find myself speeding up to catch one or slowing down to let the one behind catch up .....recently came alongside one in standing traffic ....gave a wave and response was a rather confused look from lady driver ....don't think she was in the "club"
I seem to do that aswell, allways give a wave some wave back some don't, the missus allways says I KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING:lol:. ·Ok ....off the cuff idea . Looking at middle UK / Preston area I discovered a car club that regularly use the Ibis hotel grounds off the M55 / adjacent to an entertainment complex with plenty of parking....https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ie=U...54&ei=8IDwUJ7APMbM0QWq1YCQBQ&ved=0CMoBEPwSMAA Interestingly Ibis hotels have room on offer for £26.10 ....82 rooms available. (zoom in on the (A) on the map. Only potential problem is only 3 rooms can be booked at any one time by same person so rooms would have to be individually booked. Blackpool is only 15 miles away ...A GT procession down the seafront how cool would that be ...Date FRIDAY 22/03/13 meet up and drive on the front Saturday am ....event close around 1pm > drive home ...?? Would need to check the Preston Supercar Club is not having an event same weekend. PSCM - Preston SuperCar Meet - A Gathering of Like-minded PetrolHeads ......Quite a trek for those down the bottom & up the top but think it looks good , some folks might want to make a full weekend of it with location so close to Blackpool ....just an idea folks so if no takers no worries ....Lets set a target of 10 members to make it worthwhile ...!!! 4/5 cars on the seafront would just look like a very rare coincidence... ......if this generates any interest I will move link of thread to National Events ...
