Took Tarquini's Mille Miglia Evo-5 alloys to the mender this morning. :)

They're a "teeny bit" buckled from his trans-galactic voyages to Alfa-Centauri (past Jupiter, second left, then keep going for 1,500,000,000 Light Years).. so dude just has to straighten them out a bit and then re-finish in the original black-silver hi-power jobbie finish.

Trouble is, when the fella put them on the spinning wheel thing, they were flapping about like they were made of blancmange. I thought they were a bit out of shape (aren't we all, after all) but the geezer said it was dubious whether even the best wheel-surgeons in the country could get them straight. :(

Anyway, he'll give it a go (wheel-surgeon speak for "use a bigger hammer"?) and I'll have some clue by Wednesday if there's any hope.

(Yes Yes.. I know I could just buy new ones.. only I likes the MM's and the're extinct now, in the wild).

Mille Miglia wheel's are no more..extinct...gone to the great wheel maker in the sky along with AZEV & B.K racing.
We bought all of the U.K Mille Miglia stock last year and just checked no EVO 5's left in any size.
It's a nice looking wheel, hope your man manage's to straighten them.
Take it easier with Tarquini over those Black Hole's just past the Alfa-Nebular

Aye! I found a Mangels wheel that was suspiciously similar. It had little webs between the spokes and (I think) no bolts at the foot of the studs.

Made in Brasil.. it's a pale imitation of the Evo'... but an imitation nevertheless!

So I checked out Mangels... they've gone bust (or their importer has) too! :(

Otherwise I'll have to rummage through the Fiat wheels brochure.. I noticed the Bravo sport has some funky grahite 17" wheels available for it..

The wheel repair man has summoned a specialist wheel rounding bounty-hunter, who has no name. Ooee Ooee Ooo...

"These wheels will stop at Tucumcare...."

I'll find out tomorrow if they're likely to come back dead or alive...
