Ok, time to tackle the list of jobs on my recently aquired 156.

I have a worn front wheel bearing - £58 from eBay. Is this a feasible DIY fix? I am reasonably competant, or at least enthusiastic amateur!

Any tips welcome!:)

At £58 i think it will be the bearing already in the hub and looking at diagrams it should be no more difficult than the rear. In a recent thread people are using a 36mm impact socket from halfords as it needs to be thin walled and i think the cost is around £13.

You will still need a press to remove the drive flange from the inner bearing race.

I have a new in the box genuine Alfa bearing for sale, it was bought for a 2000 twin spark, not sure if it will fit your v6, its part number 0060671437 Pm if your interested

If you still require a press even to fit s complete hub with bearing, surely it would be much cheaper just to fit a new bearing to the old hub?

Where is the best place for spares?
