I have a 156 2.0TS 2001 Y plate and need a new rear wheel bearing. Went to a motor supplier, gave the details of my motor including number plate and was told there are 2 types....one cheap and one not so cheap. How do I find which one I need?

Part No: 60652014 was 35mm ID and meant for early models

Part No: 51757885 was 30mm ID and meant for late models

Best thing to do is contact a dealer for price and availability and give them your registration and chassis number to make sure... Ask them if it's the late or early type;)

Educated guess based on your year, the 35mm ID but 2001 is a bit close to the crossover point to be 100% sure

Should be the 35mm - I recently done mine on the rear nearside. Was a pig to do and much brute strength to surffice.
I got my bearing for £60 - But they can range upwards of £120+ Mine was a lucas bearing.

Good luck - Its worth paying someone the hour labour to do it.
