Hi All

Can someone run their Elearn disc and find the torque figures for the 4 torx bolts that secure the front wheel bearing?
Also the torque procedure for the 36mm Axle Nut?
Sorry my disc drive has broken and no access to the info -will be changing the bearings in the morning.

Thanks Paul

Front wheel hub

Bolt M12 (steering knuckle)
- 9.2 - 11.2 daN

Nut M24 (driveshaft)
- Tighten to a torque of 14.3 - 15.8 daN
- Undo by 90 degr. +/-2
- Pretighten to a torque of 6.7 - 7.4 daN
- Tighten by 45 degr.
- Tighten to a torque of 20.0 - 38.0 daN
- Stake the collar of the nut twice.

This data is taken from a 2.4 as from MY06/01, but same applies for a 2.2 I noticed. Also for earlier MY apparently.

Here’s a nice guide written by a fellow member;

Enjoy, hope you can work in a heated place tomorrow

Thanks that's great but unfortunately I will be working on my driveway.
Hopefully the rain will stay away!

Thanks Paul
