First post in here hope it's in the right place!

I picked up my 159 last week and I love it so far, but there are a few things bugging me

Firstly there is the idle, it's rough! To the point it feels like it's going to stall? I'm going to get it remapped and have the EGR removed so hopefully this will fix it?!

Secondly what's this thing?!?!

Based on the positioning of the grooves+cable material, it looks to be this one

Thanks guys someone did mention it looked like a chip of some kind, the car goes like stink in the mid range but suffers from hellish lag!

Do you reckon some kind of fueling device? It looks hard wired as well, I'll have to have a closer look me thinks

It's definitely a tuning box.
Probably a 8 switch Cheetah Unit.

Definitely a ****ty tuning box - get rid and map it properly!!

Same issues as many other scenarios - remap, delete EGR, check inlet manifold swirl flap condition & security, soap test swirl flaps for air leaks if you do have air leaks either replace or blank off the swirl flaps, condition of inlet manifold internally - Massive build up of carbon & Gunk = problems.
