Been flying around plenty since getting the V6 and now i've got over the initial thrill i've picked up on a noise that builds with road speed. You can't hear it at 30mph but on the motorway its quite noticeable.

I'm thinking wheel bearing but you know whats its like you cant make it do it on the drive way up on the jacks!!!

Any suggestions?

Could easily be uneven wear on the tyres.
My last set did it on the back.

Could be.

Make sure the front & rear tracking is set correctly.

first make sure the tyre pressures are correct.

Check them cold.

over the years ive replaced all the wheel bearings on a leguna only to find it was the gearbox, similar process on an astra and clio,my mate with his relatively new avensis had dreadfull wheel bearing type noise we couldnt determine from where, told him to wait until it got a bit worse so we could tell which one it was by a temp gauge or movement that was until the original front tyres were replaced.

After some tyre checking and swapping i've found a bit of play in the near side, gear box end, CV joint. Will sort that out and see if it clears it up.
