Stupid question for the day: What's the proper name for the soft bit next to the wing mirror and door glass? And where do I get replacements? Both sides are rotten on my GTV.

In ePer's wonderful manner, it's called 'SEAL GASKET'. Great help isn't it? Especially as there are loads of other parts on the car with the same description! Under modification history, ePer also refers to it as the 'door triangle'.

Part number for a new one is 60626432 ( right hand door ) and they cost around £35 new ( as of Feb 2010 ).

£35 each?! Ouch!

Think I'll be sourcing from breaking gtvs on eBay, although I suspect mine might not be the only gtv where the "seal gasket" is rotten.
