Hi all - Newbie here!

Just bought a 2011 G and I'm not quite sure what's the version name - if any!
See below the specs and if anybody could advise it would be great:

- Mod 2011
- 1.4 Petrol Lusso Multiair
- No sat nav
- No factory Fitted Port in the upper glove compartment.

I am pretty sure it doesn't have a version name as such.

Just Giulietta 170 Lusso, or something along those lines.

It's a Lusso prior to the top stowage being replaced with the port and without optional SatNav. I have had the same from new mid 2011. Rear parking sensors became standard after the middle of the year.

I heard about LUSSO as well, but wasn't sure that that is the version I should refer to without any other description.
I'm only interested in knowing that for when I'm googling for help!
It's handy saying "I have X version of the G" than "I have a G 2011, no sat nav ,etc etc.."

I do have the rear parking sensor actually. And the USB port and 3.5mm jack in the glove compartment.

Anyway, I'll take it !

If it has it is a Lusso with Visibility pack.

It does have the auto wipers and lights.
Wasn't aware of a self dipping mirror! What's that?!

Self-dipping really means photo-chromatically tinting when the sensor at the bottom of the frame gets glare from behind the mirror darkens. And it's quite subtle but effective.

As mine has the other two features you mentioned, I'd asume it has the selft dipping headlights as well?

That's right - you either get all 3 or none.

If you've also got the parking sensors with the dash display then you've done quite well!

Lusso normally has 16" wheels (5 x 2 spokes close together)

You can easily check your exact spec from Eper ( AR factory program ) with your VIN code.
You would definitely see factory equipment level like a Progressive or Distinctive.
I have assumed Lusso is specific British word for specific British market never mentioned elsewhere.

My bad, I meant self-dipping mirror.

Now, I presume he was referring to the center mirror and not the side external mirrors, am I correct?

Yeah I got the parking sensors with dash display and alloy wheels are 18".

Lusso and Veloce were uk only specs in order to create a specific name for a distinctive with option packs. European residual values are not as affected by people keeping their cars for shorter periods but in the uk the buyers will not pay extra for extras on used cars.

could be. I can hardly accept Luxury with no USB- port for instance.
How Lusso spec does relate to single add-on option ???...
Smoking kit for instance... Is Lusso smoking or not smoking kit equipped ???...
Anyway I have learned Lusso as a definition by entering AO here only.
Sure Lusso is a particular ARUK creature like GTQV in Germany.

Not sure, my Lusso has USB port, dual zone climate as well as the visibility pack, cruise control etc.

No ashtrays, well at least not in the front. There is a small one in the middole at the rear.

Mine also came with 17" alloys, most Lusso's seem to have 16".

The U.K. Veloce spec was a Distinctive with the Sport pack but here a used buyer would want to pay for a used Distinctive and very little extra for the extras which would mean greater depreciation.
