I have a 156 Saloon 2004 2.4 jtd 20v Veloce, 72000 miles, cloth interior, FSH at main dealer apart from the last one done at a Alfa specialist which was cambelt, aux belts, water pump, intercooler pipe and new Maf. Looking to change to a 159 sportwagon and wanted some idea of part ex/private sale price. The car is very clean so I don't want to give it away at a silly price to a dealer but need a realistic valuation.

Thanks for that, had one p/x valuation at £2250 which I thought was very low as the car is in really nice condition. Some of these dealers really do take the P***...! Private sale it is then.

had a look on auto trader and i reckon you could get upto 5k if its a minter, i suppose it depends how quickly you want to shift it but id be tempted to advertise it for £5250 knowing you can tempt any buyers in buy letting them haggle the 250 notes off you :)

Offer of 2.5k on the plate? ;)

Seriously though, has to be worth more than 2250!

I think it is, just had a quick look on Autotrader and some of them are nearer the 6K mark. I know it's not worth that, the wheels could do with a refurb but show me many cars that don't have a few scars at five years old and it's had the major 72,000 service done which isn't cheap and the M.O.T. was done last month which it sailed through.
