Hey fellow alfatiers

My 2000 PH2 3.0l GTV has been running great since the new airmass meter .
Lately however ive noticed when im pushing her the red light (looks like a microphone) for the
air mass meter goes on, if i pull of gas it goes away and when i push its on again.

Should i clean the meter and filter maybe ? or electrical problem ?

The injector light.
You had me for a moment.
That could be a number of things and they will not necessarily be logged if you scan the ecu.
It could be the MAF, Lambdas or even knock detection.

How hard are you pushing and at what rpm. It could even be a lack of fuel pressure

Hi Guys

thanks for responces , car was 100% and one day i noticed it , the light comes on around 5000-7000rpm
sometimes it stays on for around 10seconds sometimes seconds ...

can it harm the car if i dont change anything or should i get it checked out ASAP ?

Mine turned out to be because the exhaust cam was advanced by one tooth. The injector light would flash on for a few seconds after an excursion to over 5000RPM. Doesn't flash now that I have set the cam timing correctly.

There are literally a hundred possible causes for the light to come on (I've seen invoices from workshops referring to the "hose light").
