+1 for previous comments, i bought conti belt kit that had dayco idler wheels (for the Fiat, not the Alfa).
i rate conti for belts, but have no experience of anything else because thats all ive ever fitted.
big names are all much of a much-ness when it comes to quality. INA (Schaeffler Group) are more of a bearing supplier than belt supplier, but are up there with NTN, Timken and SKF. iirc Dayco are Fords OEM Supplier for belts, so you can expect half decent quality from them.
This kind of thread works well on several other forums I use and often sparks some great discussions / ideas. Just post up what it is you've done and feel free to comment on others posts, but be nice :lol:
