Hi All,

At the moment i'm working on my '82 alfasud Ti to turn it into a roadlegal racecar, for trackdayfun etc.
there's a bit of welding to do, but nothing structural, just cosmetic

in the past months i've gathered all the components to make it serious
- rollcage
- racing seats with harnesses
- yellow koni sports adjustables
- and a lot more

but, now the sud has turned into just a rolling shell, zo welding could be started, i was offered a complete ready-to-race Arna 1.5 Ti
it's a RHD-car, but that's not bothering me

so here's the question

what would you do?
- stick to my original plan and finish the sud
or
- sell the sud, buy the race-Arna and make that roadlegal

i'm not so sure a sud handles so much better than an arna
i also own an original Arna 1.2SL, and i think that the standard arna handles better than a standard 33, so i think that handling is about the same as a sud

Well, would you rather be driving the streets in a classic alfasud racer, or in a Nissan Cherry bodyshell that was originally designed for people with grey hair (OK, the alfa engine makes a difference, but it is still a nissan cherry body).

Sorry to all Arna owners. On the handling front, an Arna once won the overall UK Alfa championship prod class against a grid full of Suds, so handling is at least as good.
