£250 depending how much work is needed.

You could easily spend £500 on it and a 1.8 8v isn't as "breakable" as a 2.0ltr... so the "for parts" price isn't so great.

I paid £250 for mine. 2ltr 16v TS Widey. 100k on the clock and practically no MOT, no tax and the belts needing doing.

It needs two new wishbones, a new bit of exhaust and a CV gaitor to pass the MOT.

Think I got it for a steal!

Yours don't look to bad for that money, the one i'm looking at needs a few oily bits doing for mot,the main thing is welding underneath but not tons, and few bits around the back arches and small dent on quarter panel just above the bumper.
Thing is if we don't save em the next step is the scrapyard, getting very rare now.

Aye! Don't break the beast..

I was just highlighting that some people will buy a car just to break it, so it has more value as a non-MOT'd. Luckily the 8v doesn't have as many saleable pieces (i.e. engine) as the 2.0ltr, so it's worth less.
