When I bought my car, it had 156 on the left far edge, then Q2 on the right side of the hatch, and GTA on the outside right edge.

It currently only has the 156 badge as the GTA one was flapping and the Q2 one looked too chunky compared to the rest.

I've recently seen one set up with 156 Q2 3.2 24v V6 GTA across the back.

And a GTA badge behind each indicator on front wing, and a Q2 on each sideskirt.

Just interested, who has what badging.

I've just got GTA and Q2 on RHS of hatch on mine. The 156 fell off. Looks better without IMO - less is better. Quite tempted to remove the Q2 and GTA as well.

"Q2" badge is obviously a later addition as they never had a Q2 from the factory.

I had all the badging removed when I had the respray. Looks nice when its all clear. Plus most drivers don't realise what the car is. Most Audi and BMW drivers come right up behind you expecting me to move aside. The look on their face when I pull away gets me every time!

I do have some clover leaf badges (small ones from a Mito) just above the side repeater lights.

I known this is not really related the the original topic but instead of starting a thread about this can anyone just confirm for me this is the right rear badge for the 156 GTA. It says in the description it is but also for 2001 TS models too, which i thought were different.....

I would go with the first one for the Gta , it's not a stick on I think it had 2 pins.

Yes its the first/top one. The 156 GTA's rear badge is like the other facelifted 156s, it has 2 pins and a bolt in the middle with a rubber seal as shown in the pic. :thumbs:

I did the same on my 20v JTD, for very much the same reasons. But the rear of the JTD is a mess with "156", "JTD", "mjet" and "20v", looks much better with that lot removed.

The GTA has just the original badges and will remain that way.

Ive got a new front and rear one at home, they asked for the chassis number (shop4parts) and I *think* its just the sticky one for the rear, I will check when I get home...

Ok checked. What was said above is correct. It has a thread and backing rubber plate. The sticky one I have is the front one. That is sticky with 2 small plastic bits...

I like the cloverleaf transfers on the wing, but can't put then on mine. Being in and around Glasgow risks a "misunderstanding" (looks like the Celtic FC badge).

I decided to add the Q2 badge to mine.
Only because the tail gate had a scratch I wanted to cover up.

When the time comes that I get round to having the tail gate repainted, It will probably go back to being stock.

Although, I must say, the Q2 badge does not look out of place IMHO.
