Just curious really as to what people have and how they rate it.

I have a Canon EOS 40D DSLR, Sigma 17-70mm DC Macro lens for everyday use and a Canon 70-200mm F4L lens for telephoto (mostly at Brands Hatch)

The 70-200mm F4L is awesome being an L series.

The 17-70mm is a great little lens and a vast improvement on the kit 18-55mm kit lens I did have from my old 300D.

What I am wondering though is whether to go the whole hog and now upgrade to a Canon 17-40mm F4L lens for my everyday use. The temptation is there to head up to Jessops and buy one now as I am on holiday next week, and some L glass would be nice for landscapes. That said £620 is a lot to fork out.

i have a fuji finepix s5000 a tele conversion lens and a widebody lens as well...

I will be honest i don't use it half as much as i should, and i don't use half the features on it, so for me until i get to grips with this one there would be no need for me to upgrade...

For point and squirt stuff i have a Kodak M753, its ideal for taking pics when working on the car

Nice kit Fraser.
My motley assortment at the moment is:
Canon EOS30V, 28-105 F4/F5.6
Canon Speedlight
Minolta 5000 with Sigma35-70 F3.5/F4
Nikkormat(Nikon)FTbrass body, Nikkor 50 F2, Sigma High Speed Zoom 80-200 F3.5-F4
I have a big old Nissin flash somewhere, but can't find it.
My big wish list item, is either a Canon 40D or a Nikon D300.

Am I the only Pentax user here?

K100D
Tamron 18-250
Assorted decent tripods, monopods and filters (Manfrotto & Hoya).

Got rid of the kit 18-55 lens and a Sigma 70-300 as the Tamron is really rather good as a walkaround lens. :)

Next on the list are a 50/30mm prime and a 10-20(or so)mm wide - any recommendations?

Also have a Canon Ixus50 which comes on nights out with me as it is so fantastically small.

I probably have the least amount of kit on here and I make a living from my work

Nikon D60
Nikon 18mm - 55mm
Hama A.L.P.H.A. tripod
Some wee desk tripod malarky thing
Some cheapo macro lens attachments
A lot of soul  and a big shopping list ;)
