I really fancied a 635csi back in the 80's, but wife at the time quite sensibly rejected the expense :(... So I am very interested in a 1st-hand account of its performance.

(Requested politely + tugged forelock :D)
Are you serious AM? ... do you know some good roads by you? with no speed cameras
I mean open roads not urban ones

ferrari f40 round donnington track about 18 years ago. It was a friends car he stupidly let me do a lap and I managed to get a puncture leaving the track. It cost him over ÂŁ1000 for a new tyre. He wasn't best pleased.
Bloodyell fella I would love a passenger ride in one never mind a drive. I bow down to you :D

Fastest car I've been in 1999 WILLIAMS F1. We were given a special factory tour and allowed to sit in the seat if we could fit.
Fastest car I've driven was a 2002 Civic Type R. Saw it max out as I edged alongside my mate in his Accord Type-R. And I can say the speedo was only 2mph high compared to the satnav.

Jaguar E type, had been owned by a fitter @ Browns Lane,I have no idea of its top speed but it did an indicated 110 in second gear and still accelerating when I chickened out!!

Most surprising was a Ford Transcontinental with 28 tons of alternators on board, dash lights were kaput so I was guessing speed, when I entered lit section of road I was doing over 90mph!!!:wow:

Two wheels was a Vincent HRD,130 mph on the M50 when it was quiet and legal:thumbs:

I tried to order a CTR back in 2005, but the local UAE Honda dealership could not be bothered to import them :(

However due to Honda's failure I contacted the Alfa agency, and was lucky enough to get a postive result which lead to my GTA ownership

I am lucky enough to have a friend who lets me share the driving in his Jaguar XKR when we go to football matches. Brighton to Hull and back was fun in a car that does 0-60 in just over 4 seconds and accelerates through the gears just as impressively.

Not been in any really 'fast' cars....cars that have felt fast yes, Lotus 2-Eleven 252bhp propelling less than 600kg...

Though the scariest 'fast' car I've been in was a brand new Subaru Impreza Cosworth, in the dark and wet, down a country lane!
