What have you done to your Giulietta today?

There seems to be a thread like this for every car here except the Giulietta (unless the autoguide app search is that useless!). As the title suggests...what have you done? Perhaps something that's not worth a whole new thread, a quick question or comment!

I got my Giulietta delivered this morning! Silver veloce, 140 2.0jtdm, already updated B&M to v8.0, debating a spider tuning box. Its a company car ( inherited it with 37k on it), so limited to my options.

Looked at it out of the window for the last 4 days, currently unable to drive with only one working leg.😔
Fitted LED front indicator bulbs as the standard ones you literally cant see in the dark with dipped beams on 🤣

Yeah they're terrible aren't they. I had no idea until there was a thread on upgrading them. Soon for onto Ali express for some upgraded bulbs.
Started to disassemble my old engine to diagnose/harvest spare parts.

Just got the camshaft out and all ancillaries removed. Everything timing related looks fine so far, no compression on cylinder 4, other cylinders are up over 100psi. Plugs out of 3 & 4 are all sooty, 1 & 2 look brand new (as they should with less than 1000mi)

Oil filter and oil was clean (no sparkly oil or obvious chunks, a few tiny shavings stuck to the magnetic sump plug), MA filter had what looks like liquid gasket or some other sealant clogging it up so my money is on an MA unit failure caused by oil starvation. Hoping the valves on cylinder 4 aren't bent.

Gave the car a clean today - it looks suspiciously a lot like @bigjim 's Giulietta - and showed the car to my best friend. Time to convert him to Alfa Romeos. We went for a ride, had some fun with the torque of the 1.4TB. It seems that my issues with high idle and fuel/oil smell in the cabin are sorting themselves out after some hard driving which I'm very happy about.

Delivered it to the bodyshop for remedial work on the sill ends that were done when the sills and door corners were repainted 2+ years ago. Hopefully the plastic protector they are going to fit this time will mean the repairs will last somewhat longer
Cleaned the car real quick after putting on the summer tiers yesterday with a friend.

Are you saying there are two exhaust gas temp sensors on the 2.0 diesel or is that a typo?
edit: so the s stands for sensor? It was the word straight that was confusing me as if you were making a comparison with a different shaped one!

Finished disassembling my old engine.

Bent valves are the least of my worries, after getting the piston out saw it had melted and taken the rings and sleeve with it.

Welp, time to get it re-sleeved and drop some forged pistons in there then. If anyone needs 3 x pistons & connecting rods

Yes there are 2, a right angle one which is pretty easy to change and a straight one which now I have worked it out is relatively easy... Just not as easy as the other.
Maybe there are others, I don't know.
Changed the outside temperature sensor, found a plastic trim removal tool is good for glass removing.
I don't think it is still an exact reading, now a lot bloody closer than before. 😁

I believe there is only 1 exhaust temperature sensor, on the dpf. Are you referring to differential pressure sensor or lambda ? Why were you changing it out of interest?
Been subconsciously ignoring the clunk noise when I open and shut my driver door putting it down to car age and worn hinges. Eventually had a look and saw the check strap torx screw was coming loose. Tightened the other doors as well.
