polished the roof and passenger side today. Not perfect as I've not got the correct polishing pads but it's better than it was. Drivers side and boot tomorrow.

Today I cleaned all the windows and the interior. ! also cleaned off heavy black shoot from my exhaust with hot soap water and then finished off with metal polish,

Moved it as the council was here to clean the gutter and drains. She didnt like getting started though so will go check the battery and see if I have a decent spare left.

440Amps starting current and 11.88v left.... battery appears to be discharged found a spare in the basement which was equally discharged to have that one on trickle and will check starting amps tomorrow.

With the hot temps we had last summers we cant expect much more than 3 years from a battery anyway, wouldnt surprise me it got killed with 40 degrees.

My G windows are stock no window tint and today I apply black window tint in my garage . I started 8 am and finish 12.30 pm. hard work I guess

Spent money on it... ordered filters, spqcers, wheelbolts and some some assorted bits from alfisti.net

I need the bolts to fit my new summer wheels, and 3mm spacers up front as the spokes just touch the brembo calipers.

I’ve never seen a Giulietta improved by the figment of non-Alfa wheels. I know there are lighter wheels but aesthetically...
The later “five-hole” horseshoe wheels were lighter than early design and looked good.

^ I agree with that. I find there's something wrong with most modifications of an Alfa Romeo. It already has the most classy identity and dignity; changes only degrade it in my eyes.

But back to the topic...took Giulietta to a brushless automatic wash last night and this morning I finished off by applying wheel wax to the alloys and cleaning/shining the rear twin pipes.

I couldnt find an upgrade in the alfa romeo range. I wanted a wider than 7.5" wheel in 17" diameter like my original supersport wheels. I would need to go to 19".

Tired of swapping tyres on wheels during lunch breaks 2x per year aswell. The supersports will keep their crossclimates for winter use

Looked at mine and thought "shall I take the wheels off and clean them back and front and whilst they're off I can polish the calipers?"
Then thought there's a job for next weekend, I've got plenty of time

Fitted the other battery I had, which after charging tested as new. Had to set the clock and that was all. Windows still go up automatically, that wasn't expected.

I wanted a white one. Black looks nice when it's clean but one sprinkle of rain and it's a mess.

Had a black 145, learned my lesson... Had a black 944 a few years before that, didn't learn it then...

The brass coloured Citroen I had first never looked dirty though, and the grigio medio 155 wasn't bad either.

The white Giulietta is a killer on the eyes if freshly washed and the sun hits it... I'm like Elwood Blues in the chicago state police office without sunglasses.

I had a white G and loved it. Red leather too.
Changed to red. Both look good when freshly washed and glinting in the sun. Here they are when they met!!
