Diamond mats arrived yesterday from China, three weeks from order to delivery, not bad.

Now fitted:

I know they are not to everyone's taste but I like them and they are nicely made. Reasonably easy to put in so should be easy to look after. Recommended.

I removed the boot carpet for the 1st time since buying the car 3 weeks ago and saw this long aluminium looking pad across the width of the boot floor, does anyone know what it is?

Rough translation from Italian is “Insulator boot compartment”. Presumably to protect against the exhaust pipe heat from underneath…
