Afternoon, Everyone and Happy Easter!

A few weeks ago, I posted something on this thread about wanting to do something to 'enhance' my Giulia TI's engine cover. Well, now I have!

I've designed and had some badges manufactured that fit perfectly in the obvious place for a badge on the engine cover. I have two designs available and 25 of each are now available on eBay:

Designing the badges and having them manufactured was mostly just a welcome diversion during lockdown but I'm really pleased with the end result. The badges fit the engine covers on the 2 litre Giulia and Stelvio; and I'd be interested to hear what everyone thinks.

Did you paint the lettering or can you get a sticker for that aswell

Two full days at least of cleaning, clay mitt, polishing , correcting and then ceramic coating !
just got to do under the arches but awaiting new center caps for the wheels as these are corroded!
debating if to do the V in bright red as I have the red leather interior and have a set of red and black badges on the way

That air intake and filter is the dirtiest I have ever seen!! Are you in the desert or something? Looks like the filter was not changed regularly? The BMC filter makes the intake sound a tad gruntier if you listen closely, had it on my first Giulia.

No I live in land locked Peterborough , presently waiting for the garage that I purchased the car from to provide details of what service they did on the car as the book wasn’t stamped

Got the start stop working!
Fitted a new genuine battery which was actually cheaper than a factors one
Even after ordering via vin number the new one is different , about an inch longer and some of the specs were higher!

You need the black giulia badge and a light tint on the reflectors makes the back end look much better

Fitted a set of genuine plugs ( paid a little over £50 for them perks of working for fiat)
Have her a good clean then a coat of spray on ceramic coating

The front end finished the day like this

Having a new main radiator and electric water pump fitted
Which has given me the chance to do this

tinted fog lights , clean the front end up no end
Yep not to everyone’s taste and before any one says I can’t remember the last time I used my fog lights

After last weekends 250 mile round trip to York I gave the car a wash with chemical hydro suds then a top up of hydro spray wax

then as it was horrible and cold outside I decided to get a bit arty with the engine cover

How are you guy's attaching your front number plate? As it's not attached in the photos?

Mine is stuck on , not legal but I’ve not had any issues in the last four years of running one like it on this or my previous car

Mine was, but the plate kept reverting back to straight, and peeling off the round part of the bumper. Despite many efforts, heating etc. It's a full length plate, so in the end, I had to get the dealer to fix the plate and bracket.

Where did you get the plate from?
I use proplate online and haven’t had any issues with the plates

Todays bit if work

carbon fibre bits abs I find the sunvisors arnt the best , found a company on line that does tint kits and these fit perfectly around the shape of the black screen sections and not bad for £15

Gave her a clean then a top up of chemical guys hydro speed ceramic detailer
Happy with that reflection
Also taken the floor mats out to dry them in the house to try and reduce the condensation issues

Gave it yet another clean , tried out a new product for the scuttle panel, looks nice but need to see how well it lasts

Need to decide if I’m going darker with the fog lights
Maybe a light smoke on the headlights and some carbon eye brows

Where did you get the shifter panel flag from?

Replaced the corroded center caps, they now match the front and rear badges
