*Replaced front brake flexis
*Replaced front top strut mounts
*Replaced near side front strut (after three weeks of trying to find one! And yes, I'll be replacing the other side when it gets here from Italy)
*Replaced both front tyres (Uniroyal RainSport 3- a fantastic tyre!)
*Replaced passenger side electric window switch
*Adjusted the carbs (but I do that every month- thanks Dellortos!)
*Smeared Gun Gum into the many rust holes in the exhaust manifold
So, yeah. Just another normal month owning a 33 :disappointed:
But then I give it a damn good spanking down a country road and I suddenly remember WHY!
Got an oil pressure warning light showing when revs dropped below 2,300rpm or so in my Sud. Even though I figured it was an oil pressure sender fault (it always has been) it still gives you a shock when you see it. Replaced the sender on the weekend. Took her out for a test run up the motorway at 70mph today. No oil pressure light shining when coming to a halt at the end of the off-ramp. Problem solved.
