WELL Wisnae today but was within the last fortnight. I went furra drive in TIa
I drove TIa tay Kirkcaldy . Its a long long long story but I'll shoten it. (Daughter wanted lights oota Dunelm but they didnae have any left in local store or online. nay patience so she went and bought diffent ones so me being me ...me thinks they are quite nice light and kept checking and then they were available mail order then they werenie...AARGH Blackburn had then and Lancaster even Dundee and Dumfries. Kirkcaldy had nane. Then suddenly they had 4 so methinks its a braw day fur a belt up the motorway so gets masell intay gear and oft I went.

She hadnae had a good run for a long time jist wee short journeys so the firsy think I notice a black left hawn Yup the leather deterioration had stained my hawn. Visions and Flashback to PDF's post on polishing his gearknob  Then I recalled the Bridge of Doom or was it Death when I goat her. So even the auld Garmin plug in sat nav was confused and tried to lengthen the journey wie detours but disregarded and drove straing over the New Queensferry Crossing. Nice Bridge that. picked up the lights and drove home. The drive Amazing on a nice sunny day.

So just like Harry Belafontes there's a hole in mah bucket.....I just went furra drive. Its a nice place to be in a 166.
@GOD I love that [email protected] Aargh windae 10 strikes again tay @@ Quote Big JC the millionaire maker

But the TI sussies are just to hard for my hind end. Feel every crack in the road. I just have tay remember to dodge the potholes. Just cannae afford another alternator.

Don't let the title put you off, it doesn't have to be a full detail, a wash & a clean will do, if the car looks good take some pics & submit them, please include some info on what you have done to the car

@Mufasa : ..not sure which day now, but this week :)

..yeah hopefully a split pipe or something as it emptied itself pretty quickly. Had a mooch around in the dark and can't really see anything, so I'll have to wait for some agreeable weather over the holidays for a closer look. If it's the rack itself ...

Jump started it from the wife's DS3 - confusing as the +ve on the battery is is black!!! Then left it on the charger overnight.

This morning drove to the inlaws for Christmas lunch and took the 166. En route - said to Mrs S - you know the 166 is by far the most comfortable car I've had. Yes I like the daily driver - i.e. the Stelvio but part of me thinks if I had bought a good 166 and spent 1 yrs lease payments on a 166 servicing / replacing bits etc....

Anyhow, cold night here - so started the old girl up and turn on the heated windows - ICS display went off etc but fan kept blowing etc.

Third can be a bit hard to find at times but you forget how glorious a Busso engine is when you drive modern stuff!!
