Just got Nero back from Ned and the boys at AutoLusso, amongst trillions of other things done, Bilston B4/Eibach set up and powerflex bushes, Tarox discs all round and powder coated calipers. Oh, and 15 minutes ago slung on 19 prodrives with F1 Assy3 rubber.:smoker: Jeez, I knew the calipers would be close, but I'm sure you can still slide a couple of *** papers in between :biglaugh:

Are they stuck on or push fit only?
Just push fit. You just ream the inside of the surround enough so that it tightly grabs when you push fit. Doesn't scratch or mark, and ideal also if you want to carbon vinyl the console as they would hide the cut around the dial binnacles.
Vid below showing a 'how to', but obviously there isn't the need to remove parts from car to fit...just all in situ.

Replacement battery on guarantee from Halfrauds yesterday, been playing up for the last couple of days, hazards flashing a couple of times when starter button was pressed, and then nothing. Although it was only just about 2 yrs old, it didn't surprise me that a cell had blown, with all the excessive cranking I previously had to do until Ned and the boys waved their magic hands over the SFs

And this week I will be playing with the paintwork, subject to the rain staying away after today. I need to spend a few more hours claying the Rsend first though, to remove all the diesel grease that's built up on the flanks, surprising how much gets on there until you start claying and see all the yellow it picks up. :biglaugh:

Last weekend....new Ring Xenon 130% H7 bulbs in both the dipped and high beams (goodbye knuckles). Saturday I fitted some silvatec front indicator bulbs to do away with the yellowy look in those units with cleaner sidelight bulbs. Today several sets of Philip's Ultra White Vision 501s have arrived for the sides, puddles and rear number plate bulbs, as well as some pressed metal number plates. Currently waiting on some Osram Fogbreaker H1 bulbs in yellow (fancied doing something a bit different) to arrive for the front fogs. Then I'll turn my attention to some replacement emblems (perhaps opt for the black and silver metal ones to see how they look against the white car) and a replacement rear light unit (inner drivers side on bootlid) as it is mysterioulsy cracked.

Phil.
These might look better against a white body.

Treated Nero to a custom Magnaflow cat back system from Profusion today. Straight thru system without the mid silencer or rear boxes. Sounds like a bear on steroids under acceleration :biglaugh: Still quiet under cruising though, and no cabin drone.

Any comments on the broken sun visor problem guys? I'm having trouble getting hold of a second hand one so far.
All depends exactly what part has broken, but on my passenger side one, I just wrapped the 'prong' a few times with insulating tape and retightened in its hinge......nearly a three year fix now, and not detached itself since.

Filled the tank up yesterday to drive up north, but found that my syringe plunger to add my fuel additive was broken, so it was fuel only. Really noticed a detrimental difference throughout, along with a regen which was particularly poor on spluttering. I won't be making that mistake again.

Which fuel additive do you use?
Archoil's AR6200 hi concentrated fuel modification complex at std measurements. It also has a combustion catalyst.
I also use AR6400D every six months to keep all the fuel side clean, as well as AR6600 to keep carbon build up off the turbo vanes and AR6500 to assist in DPF/CAT efficiency.

Have used Archoil products for many years, from my old GTFours, ZX, Supra and 156 v6. All petrols, this is the first diesel, and still does what it says on the tin.
