My translator had it as "fast long-distance tourism" which sounded naff, so I did my own version :lol:

Ah!

Well us older members will remember that GT stood for Grand Tourer on things like MGB (GTs), and Minis and Escorts (I think), the Italian equivelent of which, as has been pointed out, is Gran Tourisimo.

The V, again as pointed out, is "Velocé". With the accented "é" it is said "ve' (as in very)- low - chay" and NOT "vey-lows" (which I have heard) nor anything else.
