Reminds me of a trip to Japan with a friend from whom it was his first trip their. We were eating shabu shabu and it had some octopus on the side I was eating.

He asked what it tasted like.

I said f*****g octupus. What did you expect.

Anyway. Quails eggs are like small concentrated hens eggs. Very rich.

Not quite as smokey as duck eggs. Somewhere between hens and ducks with more concentrated egg flavour.

I have eaten Quails eggs topped with Beluga Caviar.

It tasted disgusting.

Imagine a bit of old seaweed mixed with strong fish, on top of an egg and that would be roughly what it tasted like. :vomit:

I ate some fish eggs whilst I was in Singapore, and they were orange.

They actually tasted ok to be honest.

I also had Jellyfish, and I wasn't keen on that.

Orange eggs are larger I think they come from Salmon :D

I'd sooner eat the contents of my nose than jelly fish :vomit:
