Hi - quite often get all sorts of warnings when first turning car on... immediately disappear, but think the battery is pretty knackered. It said low battery warning this morning for the first time.. normally just all the sidelights and parking lights etc 'fail' briefly and then it's ok.

So, a new battery - i see the size is 242mm x 175mm x 175mm

Which of these is best bang for buck? Is the more expensive one just more than I need?

Varta - £60ish - 470 cold cranking amps - Type 065 Varta Black Dynamic Car Battery 12V 53Ah (Short Code: C10) (Varta DIN: 555 155 054 or 553 400 047) - Car Batteries - Varta Car Batteries

Exide premium - £70ish - 640 cold cranking amps - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alfa-Romeo-147-3-2-2003-Exide-Premium-Car-Battery-4-Yr-Wty-64Ah-EA640-/190584688909?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c5fbb910d#ht_2128wt_1185

Or does someone have a better find?

Have you measured your battery to make sure it isn't an 027 type (242x175x190 high)?

Strange.. it worked for me.. took me straight to paypal after clicking 'pay now'... maybe worth clearing your browser history in case there's a cookie or something in there confusing it? More likely paypal is just down.. happens quite a lot
