So that was not a pleasant surprise. I lifted the back seat and the carpet below was absolutely soaked. We had a lot of rain in the previous days so it must be leaking from somewhere but not sure where. It seems to be running down the C pillar behind the leather cushion at the side of the seats but I don't know where it starts. The headlining seems dry.

Did anyone have a similar problem before I start tearing everything apart?

You should be able to see traces of water stream if it came from door seals.

Anyway, remove rear rear backrest, parcel shelf and C pillar trims to trace it. I hope your car has a roof mounted area otherwise it looks like the rear screen bonding is the issue. If that is the case, it is normally due to lack of quality in factory finish. A part not adequately protected starts corrosion which swells and lets water in.

I hope it's a leak at base of radio aerial. Better than being rear screen mastic seal. If it is the seal, fix it properly and do so before screen breaks.

I already sealed the aerial since it was also leaking. Maybe not enough though... I do have to pull the headliner out again so might as well do it now... Just too bad I didn't do this in the summer.

Did you mean the seal on these windows?

I doubt it is the side glass. I didn't realise it is a SW. I should have looked more closely. Have a look at the tailgate wiring where is enters the car body. That could be a water ingress point but if the aerial mast leaks, I think that is the issue.

Right, disassembled the right side and took a look. Water seems to be running through the outer door seal, then at the edge of the door and finally inside the cabin. Pictures are terrible, but best I could do.

I cleaned the seal as much as I could and maybe, hopefully it's better now. I left it disassembled for now to test it again tomorrow.

Any other advice?

OK, 1st picture looks like the draught seal at the top of the door aperture. It is not a water seal. The water seal which fits onto the spot-weld flange is already removed. I suspect the part of the headlining which is in the 1st picture is where the water then gets onto the C pillar trim (pictured earlier). If correct, that indicates a leak at the aerial mast.

I'm not sure about the 2nd picture. It look like inner sill to floor area at a seat belt anchorage. It is not clear but I guess the dark spots show moisture.

Headlining is completely dry, so luckily no issues there.

I tried to show the water path, but failed miserably it seems :) As far as I could see, it enters the seal on the door lip and enters the cabin as it trickles down. Seems fine now after cleaning the seal though and a full day of rain. Maybe cleaning made the seal push better against the lip and keep the water out of the seal? Might be worth applying some vaseline or something like that as well?
