I changed mine on my GT. I ended up buying a new one and it cost an absolute fortune! If you can get one from a dismantler it'll save you loads.

I ended up paying £90 for a fuse box, lid and a couple of other things in December. It's the base itself with the fuses on that costs. Apparently it's because the only time they should need replacing is after the car has been involved in an accident. I also replaced one on my 147 and managed to get one from Autolusso. It turned out to be a car recovered from the sea (!). I took it apart, put the plastic bit in the dishwasher and used the fuses and bolts out of my car. That was about £20 I think, about 3 years ago. Best to try some breakers like Autolusso or Italia Auto Parts - I'm sure they'll be able to help you out.

Generally its just a question of undoing the battery clamp - normally a 10mm nut, and the there may be two phillips screws (through a red bracket) into the top of the battery. This is visible when you open up the cover on the top of the fuse box.

When you remove the fusebox be careful with the red thing with the screws in. It's sort of anti-tamper so hold it when screwing or unscrewing the screws in it. Once the screws are out it can be lifted/teased out (it just pulls out) It's a sort of double rawl plug if that makes any sense. Then undo the nut on the positive terminal, if you just want to remove the battery, or if you want to remove the fusebox I'd undo the cables leading off from the fusebox first, noting careful which one went where, then I'd take it off the battery.
