Really like the styling of that 'little' Volvo. Anyone ever driven one? I believe it uses the same engine as the Focus ST?

I had a drive in a couple of C30's before I got the GT.

The first was a auto diesel and it was like driving a london taxi cab

the next was a manual 2.0 diesel ...... was much better ... but the GT stood out quite a way IMO

The engine to have in that particular car is the D5, unless you have shares in Shell or Michelin.

I have a mate who has a C30 1.6d. It's gutless, yet economical.

You sure it wasn't the 2.0D? The D5 is a 2.5 5-cylinder jobbie and actually sounds pretty good and is quite refined.
The 2.0 D is pants, we had one in a V50 company car and it was rubbish - it's a Peugeot/Ford engine.

I agree with Bazza.

I think they look excellent, and with that five-pot upfront, they make for a very distinctive car. Chuck in lovely ergonomics, seats, and probably an excellent stereo system, and you have a very classy and civilised car.

It's a car to chill in, a mini-GT.

My old man's got the V70 T6, which is a tank that flies. Still wasn't as quick as my 147 GTA though
