I was going to post this in pictures but as the title suggests, thats for pictures.

This is currently on 17"'s, the engine has covered 1700miles now so i started to give her some greif!

Some Videos that i have done on the mobile! You can now do "add a coment" at the bottom of the video aswell.

This is without the K&N (ignore the desiel sound, its not the variator, i have a little bit of muck in one of the followers and it passed)

I done this one to show responsive the car is, you can here a tap just as the revs pick up, this was the pedal hitting the floor.

I really do love the sound of the car since the rebuild. In some weird way it sounds like a scooby at low RPM, a real nice deep throaty sound! (Even tho i hate scoobys i do love the sound!)

Just a quick add,

The car is on 17's, fully rebuilt engine 1700miles ago, head ported and polished, k&n panel filter and the resinator box removed. I intend and getting a free-er flowing exhaust next year and maybe towards to back end of next year / 2011 (lol) full stand alone ECU to suit all the mods done, it would be nice the see around 170-75 bhp! lol

OFF OFF OFF its a 15 min job, would you like a quick walkthrough of how to do it?

The noise you get from it, is well, you can hear it, and it does make a little noticable difference in power.

I dont have any pictures for reference but here goes,

-Jack the car up on the near side front and remove wheel
-Soak the arch lining screws in WD40 and the small inspection panel bolts. IIRC there are 2 screws and 2 10mm headed (might be 8mm) bolts.
-Clean the gunk off, trust me, you would wish you had done this before you started to try and screw them off!
-Remove the above screws.
-Remove front part of arch linning to allow the removal of the front bumper.
-Remove lower bolt that holds the corner of the bumper in place, hammer this with WD40 again before doing so!
-Remove the 2 lower bolts under-near the bumper, these are inline with the bottom of the radiator. Just glancing underneath and you will be able to see the 2 recess's in the bumper where the bolts sit. IIRC these are 13mm?? maybe 14mm. Again, before removal, soak in WD40!
- Remove the grill by removing the top 2x10mm bolts located on the top of the grill. Then prise away each corner of the grill under-neath each side's headlamp, these are push in clips so you may have to jerk it, try not to break it!
-Remove the 2 bolts holding the bumper on directly behind where the grill sits.
-CARFULLY slide the nearside of the bumper forward, remember that the off-side is still attached, however you should be able to move the bumper enough to gain a good amount of access to the resinator box. . .you wont beleive how big it is!
-IIRC there are 3x10mm bolts holding it on, 2 on the bumper holding leg and one just above the leg on a bracket. Then just give it a roody good yank pulling from the rear to the front OUT of the airbox and POW! You have gain a shed load of grun noise and probably around 2-3bhp!

The above guide is a quick ROUGH guidline, do not quote me on everything!
