I have a 2009 159 tbi since 6 months. I noticed that during engine braking i have some light hi frequency vibrations. I am guessing about 10Hz. Pushing the clutch or starting acceleration and it will disapere. Mainly noticeable at 5 and 6th gear but i think it is the same on any gear. Any one experienced this before. Is it normal? If not any ideas what it can be.

It's a "feature" of that engine on the 159/Brera/Spider...

Is that a tbi or a 159/brera/spider feature? I never noticed it when i was test driving the 1.9jtd or the 2.2 159 but as i did not know about it i did not look for it.

It's a TBI feature on the 159/Brera/Spider platform. I've never heard anyone with the TBI engine having this feature on a Giulietta.

I have a Spider and I've had this feature since the car was new.
