I woke this morning to find my ***** spider had a large knife slash right through the roof.

Nothing was taken. So must have been some brainless idiots getting their kicks.

Anyway i'm looking for a black alfa soft top for an r-reg spider. I live in essex area. So does anyone know where i can go to get this done, and how much its likely to cost?

Sadly, I've known a few people with convertibles, had this happen to them. Some idiots about indeed. We have a VERY good specialist down here in Swansea, but that is obviously too far away for you...........

Ebay sells them, i believe they are about a couple of hundred £ but then you need someone to fit! Shame, but its the kind of society that we live in today, no respect for people or posessions! Don't let the barstewards get you down fella!

Bummer, depressing state of society. In the distance past people that did that sort of thing would probably have been flogged or had their nails pulled out. These days they're more likely to get a rehabilitation holiday.

Yet another sign of broken Britain, low priority for the Police who are sadly overworked, underpaid and drowning in paperwork. Even if you had caught them in the act and done something you would have been done for assault!..

What makes me laugh however in this country is the vast majority of people who have garages choose to fill them full of worthless junk and then leave thousands of pounds parked on the road instead.

You have my deepest sympathies nobody deserves this.

That's my worst fear to see my Spider like that in the morning...
When I moved to my new flat last summer, insurance was up by +£150 due to similar issues happening in the area then last x-mas we received a letter from the local police station informing us of increasing vandalism...sweet
