For the 24v V6, what would be the best route for naturally aspirated tuning? I've heard of enlarging the 2.5 to 2.8 and the 3.0 to 3.5. Are the 2.5 based engines peppier than the longer stroke engines? I'd be interested in swapping the engine into a Volvo wagon, kind of a long story. It'll be a track car and relatively light. I don't have the skills or resources to fabricate many parts myself. So that being said, how much power could I could get, how high could it rev, how much would it cost, and where could I get the parts from? Links would be great.

this is an open ended question really...

the longer stroke produce more torque and I,m guessing the shorter stroke will rev better than the long stroke

there is also 3.2 to 3.8 to add to you list..

best starting point depends on loads of things...

could talk to Autolusso in the Uk.. they build lots of 3.8's

but if the car is light maybe the 3.0 to 3.5 with steel rods forged pistons high lift cams would produce a high revving powerful track car

I believe 400bhp or more is available if you have the budget .. as for costs.. thats going to depend on spec..

and if you want to build it yourself or get a turnkey option
