My Alfadiag has a fault reading of a knock sensor. Does anyone know where it is located on my 1999 2.5 V6? I cant see any diagrams of its position.

V6 knock sensors are either end of the block hidden in the 'V' under the chrome inlet tubes. Swines to change :(
Oh hell, i know what two you are talking about. Do you have to remove the inlet tubes to get to them?

They're a pain. Crome tubes out, followed by fuel rail and injectors. Crome tube mounting plates off. Remove thermostat housing (a ****) followed by the long black pipe that runs between the heads and then you'll see the sensors.

Good luck.
