I have just purchased a 91 V6 - and the clutch is slipping badly.

Can anyone give some advice on replacing the clutch in a 91 V6 ?

Can this be done with the engine in the car ?

I may take the engine/gearbox out anyway to do the cambelt, tappetts etc and have a good look over the unit - Does the engine come out upwards or from below ?

Cheers

Col, not being funny or anything but if you don't know that, it seems to me that you should be paying someone with the knowledge to do the job for you. It's a shame you purchased the car with this problem. My 155's clutch failed approx 1 month after I purchased it. It didnt slip noticeably but just failed after seemingly losing all gears once or twice!

Thanks for the comments Rob. I have had alot of experience with twin cams and boxers but not V6's or 155's. Basic information is scarce hence my kick off question.
