Desperately needing advice on which lambda sensor(s) for my CF2 GTV V6! Is the correct Bosch item part no BOSCH 0258006193 for the CF2? Looks like it is from the excellent Alfa Workshop website :

Alfa Romeo GTV Sensor-Lambda

Also do I really need two of them? Or can a Alfa Specialist diagnose which one is duff?

I say "desperately needed" because I have a 40% discount code on GSF Car parts (actually just type in WKEND41 and it works) which runs out end of tomorrow. They have this lambda sensor for the CF2 GTV V6 but not sure if its Bosch / cheap rubbish:

Lambda Sensor

.. it's the one at £80.00 which will be about £50.00 after the discount. Is it the right one though?

Many thanks  - don't like running my GTV without them connected!

I would contact GSF and ask them what the make of that lambda is, because it's not listed.
If you do a search on ebay for BOSCH 0258006193, and include the European union in the item location, your get a number of European sellers, selling original Bosch lambdas for around £50. I recently bought both for my CF2 v6 from a German seller, paid £115 including postage, and they arrived quickly too.

I would defo change both, its false economy trying to get away with one, especially if you're gonna pay an Alfa dealer to test them

Thanks for the tips fellas.

Antonius - cheers for that, you're right. Did the ebay search and they're about £54.00 off ebay Germany instead of £90 + here in UK. Result!

Ironbridge...?? Darn it! If you were nearer me Andrew 1961 I'd bung you £50.00 cash to do it for me. I'm afraid I'm a total Luddite when it comes to mechanics. And DIY. Gonna get Gus at Alfatune to do it for me along with a couple of other things. Anyway, 2 x BOSCH 0258006193 about to be ordered....!

I had a long chat with a really helpful guy at Alfashop in Norwich recently about Lambda sensors and he gave me all of the OEM part numbers but none of them are 0258006193. If anyone is interested in the part numbers (and prices) get back to me.

I would be very careful buying lambda sensors from Germany from ebay, there is a lot of fake stuff out there. I would buy from a reputable supplier. Just Lambda are a good company. It's not worth buying non-genuine parts, in particular for electrical parts.
I bought apparently genuine bushes for my skill saw. They certainly were not genuine and they went straight in the bin.

You might want to check before ordering your lambdas. If your engine is AR16102 M4/M7 you'll need 0258006190 and 0258006193. They are basically the same sensor, but one has a longer cable, if I'm correct 0258006190 is 1200mm and 0258006193 is 630mm long. You should be able to get this information by looking up the Bosch parts catalogue.

Yes, always a good idea to check the ebay seller feedback history, wherever you're buying from. The lambdas from brands4cars that I bought were original Bosch.

Cheers Antonius, good advice. Was just about to press the "order now" button but decided to call Gus to make sure ....and he said "nooooo"! Have booked it in with him next Weds rather than buy stuff blind ... and which might not be the fault anyway. Been to Gus before, he'll sort it out. if it is Lambda's I'll def buy only genuine Bosch ones anyway.
