Looks cool, but it's taking power that could be charging your gadget.
And your gadget should flash when charging anyways.

And I prefer larger-gauge wire, shorter-length USB cables that can
mean you gadget chargers faster, depending on supply etc.

:p

e.g.

Taking power, I believe it's mA's.

It's not going to pull so much electricity that another power station has to be built:p

Not all gadgets flash, scream or jump up and down when charged. With this it's an obvious sign.

Supplied power is mA.

Between 500 and 2400.

The cables do seem to have an impact on charge times for bigger hungrier devices
now. ANd tehre are a lot of "smart" chargers using Qualcomm charger tech and such
like to boost current and manage rapid charging.

I want one.

BTW Techmoan who posted the video on the tube also does some great ones on old music technology - minidiscs, tapes, 8 track, reel to reel and some systems I had never heard of e.g. reel to reel spools that you lace up in a compact cassette skeletal frame. Well worth seeking out.
