Do a search. Not sure but seem to recall some complaints.

go via small claims court. They have been known issues with them in the past, I have ordered from them in the past and received my parts in less than 48 hours. They do not have a representative on Alfaowner.com

I received emails in good time when I placed my order, but after the admitted they took money for something they didn't have in stock (which took 5 days by the way!) they went quiet. He ignored my emails for another week or so and their phone number did not exist any more.

I emailed him telling him I had a visa dispute raised, and as if by magic I got the refund a day before the dispute started and a polite email from 'customer services'

This was a couple of months ago now.

I spoke to Chris (of Gazzella) a while back and he told me he did have a profile on this forum but did not tell me what name it is under.

I had a good service from them intially but then things got very slow and then no response to e-mails or phone calls. Divorce came along and I needed the cash back (to pay solicitors) and despite agreeing to this I have heard nothing from Gazzella.

I am indeed progressing things through the courts if I have not received a satisfactory response before 5.30 tomorrow. This has gone on long enough.

How long ago did you place your order?

Right,

Received a response from Gazzella to say they dont have any records of me as a customer:mad:

I bought C&B Cams, FX coil overs, Zender cup kit, tarox brakes, goodrich cables, spending circa £2k with them.
At the same time I ordered parts for my 156 which didn't arrive for months so I cancelled my order and told them to keep the money on account until I decide what to do. Then, when I asked for the money back (OVER £600) they ignore me several times then claim no records.

I have sent them copies of e-mails and have bank records confirming the sums spent with them yet they say they dont have records:mad:

My partner (a barrister) is drafting pre-action protocol letter ahead of taking them to court. If anyone else out there has a problem with Gazzella I am happy to receive your e-mails and we may add your action with ours and may go for a 'winding up order' on the company.

Good luck, I hope you get back what you spent and they get what for.

Some people have received things from them with no problem but any company who treats even some customers this way needs to be dealt with.

I think there needs to be a warning about this place on here.

I'm not one for giving companies a bad name as I own one myself and can imagine how easy it is to damage a reputation. This company although has had years to sort them selves out and I'm utterly amazed that they are still doing this 3 years on from when I was stung myself.

I wont go into details but my experience is that when you enquire about a part they are responsive and very helpful and your happy to let them have your money. Then after the delays you find that you cannot get in touch with them or get your money back. I paid £170 for a part, agreed not as much as Rog but after 6 months with no response I ended up just giving up as I didn't want the hassle of taking it further.

I bought the same part from Alfisti.net and it arrived immediately from another country! Complete contrast of service.

Hope you get far with this one Rog.

Hi Matt,

If you can prove you sent them money for a part and they acknowledged receipt (your bank should do that) then all you need to do is send these details to me by e-mail and we will add it to our legal action at no cost or hastle to you! you might get your money back.

I too ran my own company for several years and would never have survived if i treated customers like this.

If people search the company name on here that tells a story to prospective buyers.

These are two recent postings on the Fiat Forum about Gazzella:

"Just search for Gazella on this forum - many many threads and everyone will be moaning about delivery times and total lack of response, if any."

"I placed my order (GBP1240.43) on 06/07/2011 and payment was promptly made via WorldPay after a call to Chris who mentioned that Paypal has a higher processing fee bla blah.. So I accommodated to his request as his service seemed pretty alright.

He told me that the delivery to my place (Singapore) will take only about 5-7 days. I sent him an email on 20/07/2011 and gave him a call to check on the status of my order and he told me that it was the holiday seasons over in the UK, shipments were being delayed, etc.. I trusted him and placed another order (GBP40.79) on that day itself.

Come late July, I was getting a little worried and emailed him regarding the order, and there weren't any replies... So I guessed he was busy... In August, I emailed him again and still no reply till days later when he emailed me saying he was away for business, etc...

Guess what, now it's September.. still no shipment despite the email from Chris saying that he will send me the shipping list the next day.. Called numerous times, and he sent me an email "Dear Sir, we will reply to you"

Nothing more from him, no more emails were replied, no calls were answered...

Anyone who personally knows them or are able to contact them? I'm already contemplating making a fraud report via the relevant authority.

This is such a bad experience... It isn't a small sum of money involved as well... Really irks me...
"

The advice given to this chap on the Fiat forum was to pursue an Action.

This is now getting VERY worrying for everyone and I wonder if anyone is in touch with or ordered any parts from Gazzella recently, if so, it would be good to understand what your experirinec is!

I remember I tried to buy some coilovers for my 155, world pay had problems processing so it didn't go though.

He was on the phone the next day trying to get me to order over the phone then and there, glad I didn't now, reading all these horror stories make you wonder why he's still going and how he's getting away with such poor customer service.
