Start your engines! Beautiful road ahead!

We are very happy to invite you to the 7th edition of Alfa Fest Romania, the first of many international gatherings yet to come.

The setting for this year’s festival is the stunning Transfăgărăşan road, a paved road connecting the two highest mountain peaks in Romania. It is truly a beautiful piece of engineering, or, what Top Gear named “an unbroken grey ribbon of automotive perfection”. The zigzagging 92 km road reaches its highest altitude at 2042 m, passing over 800 small bridges and 28 viaducts. A total of five tunnels, including the longest one in Romania, break into the serene landscapes. But don’t worry, your engine will love them, and you’ll hear it purr.

We, at AlfaClub Romania, a 5000 members community connected by our common passion for the italian car-maker, would be honoured to have you at Alfa Fest Romania. Because, let’s be honest, we all love talking about our Alfas, but we love driving them even more.

Other Alfa communities from Greece, Bulgaria and Serbia have already confirmed their presence.

Additional details about housing, costs and distances will be found soon on www.alfafest.ro
Meanwhile, you can follow the official event's page on Facebook.

RSVP, cuore sportivo!

Wow! This looks unbelievable. I'm so extremely jealous of you European guys right now

Maybe if I start driving now, I'll be there by August

I have been to Stelvio and Alps more times now so this looks like the next step :) Amazing scenery, I loved the place since I saw it in Top Gear and I saw it for the first time.

Ever since it appeared on Top Gear, I have soooooo wanted to do that road, :wow:.

Did the Stelvio a couple of years back and thought it was pretty good - Switzerland into Italy in the late evening when you can get the road all to yourself - but the Transfăgărăşan has got to be the ultimate challenge,.

Unfortunately, we'll be negotiating the backroads of Brittany that weekend - maybe next year though. :D
