Hi

The code I've got for my Type 932 (by Alpine I'm told) includes the digits 0 and 8. However I was under the impression that the code was entered using the radio preset buttons (thus 1 to 6). Is my code wrong or is my assumption about entering it wrong?

Thanks in advance

Jim

It looks like one dealer or service decoding will be suitable to unlock this radio. One of the member reported that code 4566 did work with this radio so it's worth to try. Otherwise any service you might recommend which will not rip me off but do the job?
Many thanks

If you bought it second-hand, did the seller not provide the code? Not written on the radio casing is it?

You have two options: get them to replace with one with a code or approach your dealer with as much paperwork as possible to prove ownership.

Well I bought radio together with the car but unfortunately I wasn't aware I have no code in my documents. So after disconnected battery the trouble has started. It looks like it will be cheaper to get used on ebay with code. Also I have found website dedicated to income alpine radios.Does anyone use it, or has any experience with it? Any input will be appreciated.

Well I have managed to uncode my Alpine type 932 radio from Alfa Romeo.
It cost me "only" £15. I have used repair service for car audio in Milton Keynes, they do also generate code for above radios. All they require is serial numbers from radio body. I just simple took a foto and emailed them. After 2 days and second attempt they emailed me cirrect code. First time they failed.
