The cf2 one like mines has a t piece affair leading to expansion tank.
It looks identical to the cf3 one on my mates gtv so since I cant get my one to seal properly I might try a cf3 one - unless someone already has ?

The other thing I suppose is to fit a 156 bottom hose and then fit a hose from expansion tank to the unused (on the gtv) inlet with the "bung" on the drivers side of the water transfer tube. Only problem with that might be having to route it reasonably close to the exhaust unless theres room to run it next to radiator somehow

CF2 TS and CF3 TS cooling system is the same on the GTVs. We've now got sets in silicone for the 3.0 V6 CF2 & CF3 and the 2.0 TS CF1. Intake pipe for 2.0 TS CF1 also available, we will get the V6 CF2/CF3 one made up soon as well.

Is there a market for silicone coolant hose sets for the 2.0 TS CF2/CF3 at £140+ a pop? We haven't had them made up yet as we're not confident the demand will be there. We thought it would be for the 3.0 and had them made but have sold hardly any sets. GTA ones on the other-hand have been flying off the shelves.

We did 2.0 TS CF1 as everything is discontinued now and 2nd hand pipes are thin on the ground.

V64 of eper says around £66.00

If I get time tomorrow I'll try to phone Chris at Western Perth for availablity - maybe we need a group buy :)
Pud - I'm not sure if the cf3 is available either new or 2nd hand whether there would be a market for silicon at the higher price.
I wonder about the cost/practicality of the 2nd possibility I mentioned ?

If you did a set for the 2.0 cf2 ts at £140 I would be buying ( but only in black  )

Cheers Steve.

I've just had a look on there, indeed there is a different bottom hose on the 2.0 CF2 as there is on the 2.0 CF3. I never realised they were different - can anyone confirm what the difference is? Is it minor or pretty major?

If it is different it must be reasonably minor because they look the same.
If you have a good 2nd hand cf3 one in stock I'll happily take it ( buy it :) ), try it out and report back

Thats what I thought, its often the case Alfa use different part numbers when the alternative happily interchanges with it. The CF1 bottom hose is obviously different as its not a T-piece design, its just a normal pipe.

Well my hose finally died so I took a chance and bought a CF3 bottom hose and gave that a go, as luck would have it they are after all identical to the cf2 hose so happy days  what I didn't get is how a dealer will tell me the cf2 hose is nla but is quite happy to sell me the identical hose for a newer car

Thanks again for all the helpful input guys
Cheers Steve.

Well done that man :)

I had pm'd Pud237 and was waiting on his reply to ask whether he had a cf3 one I could try.

If you dont mind me asking how much did you have to pay for it ?

I wonder if this "not available" matter is simply an error on eper - since it usually links replacement part nos to old parts maybe its just an oversight

Its all 4-ply silicone, really good quality and is a direct replacement for the originals. The coolant hose kit is £130, the intake replacement is £60.
