Guys,

Hello, I'm new to this forum, but have had my 2001 Alfa 156 1.6 TS Veloce for around 13 months. It's a good forum.

Anyway, I'm going to do the top wishbones this weekend, using a guide on the net.

What size are the Nyloc nuts on the ball joint and on the drop leg, and any other new nyloc nuts I need?

I bought M10s but they're too small.

Anyone?

Cheers

Only cause it's good practice to bin a Nyloc nut after it's been used. The nylon part won't give the same grip once it's been off.

Have you re-used them ? If so have you had to retighten them?

I allways reuse them personally, they seem to hold under pressure with me, you could use a torque wrench if you are unsure of the tightness though.

On another note the nylon nuts for holding the strut and wishbone at the top under bonnet have funny size thread, It doesn't seem to be metric more like a really fine thread!

Does anyone acctually have a clue what thread and size it is?
