Following on from the GTA thread, whats the fastest you have been in a JTD?

Ill start off: 140bhp version and according to the GPS it was 201kph - it still had a bit more to go but it started to rain so i held off. However i just looked up what the max speed for my 2001 156 and its 205kph, so in the 10 years and 171k its been driven its only lost 4kph! Amazing really seeing as it still had more to give...

Thats bad, mine did 120k miles and still had more to give in germany, but because i had her just a month i didnt want to go any higher. When i had 1.6 ts the max stated speed was 124 and at 120k miles she did 120 miles an hour for 4 yours :) Just had to refuel every 2 hours :)

but my penis is bigger than yours  :p

I dont mean that 201 was all it could give - it started to rain so i wasnt going to push on. I know once without the GPS the speedo signalled 130 something but its always off by a bit.
Thing is though my engine has 50k more than yours (if ive understood properly). Also goes to show that Alfas figures are as reliable as the electrics they put in the car  Overall im happy with the performance of the car and to be able to do 125mph i think is alright for such a heavy car

P.S. just to add what i meant is that the max ive gone in the car is 201kmh or 125mph

2.4 10v (the 150) - 138 mph on the clock, on the flat, and she was still accelerating - just about - but I bottled it as I suddenly realised I hadn't checked tyre condition for a while. Didn't have GPS to check real speed but I should think it'd be easily 5-10mph less for real as I know 80 = 75 and 100 = 94 on my car. I wouldn't do it again...
