Hi guys, first time post here... :D ;)

I would like you to confirm me something:

- what's the gear box ratios on every gear and final ratio;
- what's the rev limit for a 1.8TS
- what's the original tires/wheels size

Cheers :)

P.S. it would be great to have an excel sheet (or similar) where I could see the max speed on every gear.

Do you mean the 8v or the 16v engine?
The 8 valve limiter is set to 6500rpm, and the 16v to 7200rpm.
In both cases, wheel size is 185/60r14, 195/55r15 or 205/50r15 as standard sizes. The 15s were not standard fit on the 8 valve skinnys though.
As for gearing, I don't know. The speedos are very optomistic though... ;)

Anyone have any thoughts on using a 'box from a 156 TS.

I believe the 156 has a different hydraulic set up but would be interested to know if its a viable option, especially as the 156 has a lower final drive as I find 1st in the 155 too high for my liking.

Its a possibility, the hydraulics could possibly be adapted, I think the main problem might be gettinf drive to the wheels, might need different length drive shafts etc :confused: :?
