Saturday the 2nd August is Tintagel carnival (and the battle of Carmalan re enactment) Anyway I am travelling down to Cornwall as this was a cracking event last year and will be staying in Tintagel itself, If any of the Cornwall crew are around the area let me know and we can maybe have a mini meet and a Beer or two

Wonderful experience.:): Do they still serve those Oh! so tasty traditional Pasties on the side of the walkway? Worth a trip, for those alone,in my book.:): Mouth watering, in anticipatory fashion.:D

Yep ZF they still have the pastie bakery on the main street, you can see them being made before you buy :)

We lived on those Pasties, when we used to visit Tintagel, years past. Stayed at a farm, not far South of Bude, with the Kids when they were little, and had a great time.

They did all sorts of interesting things, milking, horse riding,etc.etc. with the wife, whereas I was able to walk around the acreage with my Manufrance, popping at this and that.:): How the world has changed, from those days of fond memories!:(:

Surrounded with all this indulgent Hi-Tech speccy stuff, and really lost out on so many satisfying pleasures. Must do a smart about turn I reckon, if it's at all possible?

Got an old aunt who is now well into her nineties, who lives not too far from there. So just may trip on down, when all the pesky kids are back at school. Sorry family folk.:): Well, ours are all grown up, and the grandkids mostly too.:D
